Bride: Emily Ettles
Date: 8th June 2024
Venue: Gordon Castle, Fochabers
Emily and Chris enjoyed a beautiful ceremony with the help of Janet Donnelly, Humanist, at the historic Gordon Castle in Fochabers on Saturday 8th June. The Castle, which is nestled in a private estate on the River Spey, boasts historic romanticism and features breathtaking grounds.
Emily chose the stunning Stella York #7194 gown in almond with ivory lace appliques. #7194 is a timeless ballgown paired with swirling lace patterns and sheer cutouts for an unmistakably bridal but oh-so-glam look. The plunging V-neckline is finished off with gorgeous lace for a classic but textured effect, with illusion tulle providing subtle, secure comfort. Sheer details in the bodice add a slightly sexy touch and show off the stunning intricacies in the lace. The frothy skirt is so soft and sparkly, with layers of tulle and sequin-detailed lace creating a flowing skirt ready to walk down the aisle.
A combined effort from Nikki from Fledging Photography and Paul Mavor Photography & Cinematic Wedding Films, Aberdeen, were on hand to capture the newlywed’s day perfectly in the breathtaking grounds whilst the guests enjoyed canapes in the Orangery entertained by Chris Grant.
Emily, we wish you and Chris the very best of luck for the future and we are eternally grateful to have been a significant part of your day!
