Real Bride:        Helen Taylor

Date:                17th August 2024

Venue:              Michael Kirk, Gordonstoun

Helen (Nell) and Mike tied the knot at the tranquil Michael Kirk within the grounds of Gordonstoun.  This dignified little church was built in 1705 as a mausoleum for ‘the Wizard Laird’, Sir Robert Gordon, on the site of the ancient Kirk of Ogstoun and features remarkable window tracery enhanced by flower carvings.  On their wedding day, flags of the United Kingdom and Australia were flown at full mast in honour of the two nationalities.

Helen oozed elegance in her Stella York ballgown #7755 with its lustrous satin construction and impeccable ballgown silhouette. From sleek shoulder straps, a flattering deep V-neckline dips into a fitted banded waistline. In the back, a complementary V-back detail meets the waistline and adds a row of fabric-covered buttons to accentuate the full length of this modern wedding gown. From the tailored waist, a regal ballgown skirt extends to form a sweeping cathedral train at its finish.  Helen opted for a sentimental headpiece and veil to complete her look.

It was a combined effort from Jen Robinson Photography, JBA Photography, LK Photo and Video and Paul Mavor Photography and Cinematic Wedding Films Aberdeen Scotland to capture the newlywed’s day and night so beautifully both on camera and film.

Shannon Wilkinson Hair and make-up by Robyn Amelia had the bridal party looking amazing.

Helen, we wish you and Mike the very best of luck for the future from all at Angharad Bridal.
