Calling all brides to be, you are in for a treat!
Amy, Hannah and I set off on the 10th September to Harrogate for our bridal 2023 buying trip. After a 7-hour drive, we arrived at our gorgeous apartment and popped the fizz before heading out for dinner and a few cocktails at Orchid Restaurant.
Our first appointment was to view the new Stella York collection which totally blew us away. With so many gorgeous dresses we had to take some time out for lunch whilst we looked at our favourites and try to narrow our choice down. Once refreshed we headed back to finalise our order. From plain to lace, fit and flare to ballgowns we have something for everyone. We have some amazing matching accessories on order and a huge Martina Liana detachable ballgown overskirt so you can have two dresses in one.
Our next appointment was with my lovely friend Marina designer of Paul Zeni Couture. This was such an exciting collection to see as I have given Marina some feedback from my brides and she has designed some dresses just for us! All I can say is wow, we will have the biggest sparkliest dresses you have ever season. I cannot wait for them to arrive at the boutique.
Sunday night we went for dinner at the old Baths in Harrogate with our friends from Madison Rose bridal boutique.
Monday morning began with a glass fizz as we met designer Caroline Castigliano and her team to view her new 2023 collections. The new collections have the most luxurious fabrics and fashion forward designs that I can’t wait to share with you.
After a quick bite to eat it was accessories shopping for the afternoon. Rainbow club have some new bridal trainers so they were first on our shopping list, alongside some metallic occasion wear shoes and of course my favourite a dyeable satin shoe with a little bit of bling!
We have loads of new tiaras, hair vines, combs from the amazing Ivory and Co collections. Richard Designs had the cutest flower girl dresses so we have three new dresses on order. We also ordered some new headpieces and veils to match some of our new wedding dresses ordered.
It was so lovely meeting up with friends, viewing the new trends and choosing our new collections for next year.
