This year has started with some challenges for our brides who cannot wait to say I do! We are very excited that we have a date for reopening on the 26th April, our appointment book is filling up quickly. With wedding numbers increasing to fifty from this date our phone has become red hot with all our brides booking dates to collect their dresses with the confidence their wedding will now be able to go ahead.

In February we received our first bride getting married before we are allowed to open our bridal boutique doors. Without a dress Lydia got in touch to see if there was any way we could help her find her wedding dress. During several emails, we chatted about the style of wedding dress she was looking for. Due to the tight timescale, we asked for Lydia to provide us with her measurements so we could check what beautiful wedding dresses we had in store in her size. Then we arranged our next important step which was a video call so Angharad could show the bride the dresses we had discussed and decide if she would like to try these dresses on. At this point, Lydia was looking for a short style wedding dress. Angharad suggested a few more that she thought would fit her body shape well and the style of her wedding. The date was set where the selection of wedding dresses was delivered to Lydia’s home. Just one hour later Lydia found her perfect wedding dress and said Yes to the dress.

On the 13th May 2021, Lydia got married to her husband Aaron at Aiden’s Church, RAF Lossiemouth. Lydia shared these beautiful photographs with us. She said she felt like a princess all day and you can see why! What a glorious day for a micro-wedding. Don’t they both look so happy together? Wishing Lydia and her husband a lifetime of happiness together xxx
