Megan and Shannen got married in February at the Woodlands Hotel, Broughty Ferry. This luxurious hotel is surrounded by woodland gardens and close to Broughty Ferry beach. From the photographs, you can see Megan and Shannen made the most of this lovely location with their photographs.
With a woodland theme, Megan chose a magnificent bouquet by Piretty Flowers by Lauren Pirie, Aberdeen. Love Juniper Rose, Dundee incorporated their woodland theme with a beautiful flower arch.
Megan and Shannen Woodland Garden Wedding
The lovely couple chose Bear and Butterfly Photography from Glasgow to capture moments from their special day to treasurer. What fabulous photos on what looks to be a beautiful day from the lovely beach photograph showcasing Megan’s beautiful dress and veil.
The dress: Megan fell in love with an Essence of Australia full a-line floral detailed wedding dress. I’m sure you’ll agree it was the perfect choice for her. This dress definitely brough the romance to the wedding day, the sheer bodice features a slim v neckline with a fabric band and romantic floral lace detailing. From the bodice, the botanical-inspired lace continues down the skirt in a unique mix of flowers, leaves and vines.
The gown’s V-back is highlighted with lace appliques that cascade down the tulle skirt and train. The back of this full A-line wedding dress with floral details zips up beneath fabric-covered buttons. Megan chose to accessories her dress with a custom-made Joyce Jackson designed cathedral veil with diamante scatter throughout. It has to be said Megan was one of my most excited brides to come and collect her dress and seeing everything together I can see why!
Shannen wanted a Scottish look for her wedding day outfit, she chose a beautiful tartan suit and looked extremely suave on their wedding day!
