Melissa and Michael Forrest
Date: 3rd July 2021
Venue: Netherdale House, Turriff.
Melissa and Michael’s Wedding was at Netherdale House Turriff in July this year, they were married by Rev. Shuna Dicks. As you can see from the photographs Netherdale House is a beautiful Georgian mansion nestled on the banks of the River Deveron. Morna Bisset (Gleneagles) was the couple’s chosen florist who created the most beautiful bridal boutique we’ve seen. With props by Illumin8 creating the perfect theme for Michael and Melissa’s wedding day. Fusion was their caterer and the cake was created by Phillip Skinazi (Gleneagles).
Melissa said “they had the most amazing day – we managed to get married outside in the beautiful Scottish sunshine which was perfect. We cried, laughed, and had the best time with our family and friends who we haven’t seen in so long”. Lee Fletcher Photography captured their special day with these amazing photographs.
Melissa wore Essence by Australia D2761 classic satin ballgown wedding dress. Laura Mas-son was Melissa’s dressmaker who fitted her wedding dress to perfection. She loved the off-the-shoulder sleeves and pockets. This classic satin ballgown features a plunging sweetheart neckline that seamlessly flows into banded off-the-shoulder straps, highlighting your neck and shoulders beautifully. The train featured traditional buttons running the length of the simple train, I’m sure you’ll agree it was the perfect choice for Melissa! The bride’s hair was styled by Caroline Barclay and her makeup artist was Julia Stronach.

Melissa shared a fabulous video of her on a swing at the wedding which highlights the
beautiful flowing train on her dress.
